How Engagements Are Structured
Every piece of work is scoped, contracted, and delivered through vSource IT Ltd. Scope, deliverables, timelines, and commercials are agreed per engagement — suitable for project work, transition work, specialist advisory, and part-time senior technical leadership.
Fixed-Term Project Engagements
A defined project — a migration, refresh, or transformation programme — delivered over an agreed period against a fixed scope. Suited to work with a clear start, end, and set of deliverables, where the outcome matters more than the number of hours worked.
Best suited to organisations with a defined programme — a data centre exit, a firewall refresh, a network transformation — that needs senior network delivery for its duration.
Statement of Work / Scoped Delivery
Discrete pieces of work — a design, a migration phase, a security review — delivered against a written statement of work covering scope, deliverables, timeline, and acceptance criteria, agreed before work begins.
Best suited to well-bounded work where the organisation wants a fixed deliverable and a clear acceptance point rather than open-ended consultancy.
Fractional Consultancy
Ongoing, part-time technical leadership for organisations that need senior design authority or delivery oversight without a full-time hire — typically a set number of days per week or month, scoped to the programme.
Best suited to organisations with a senior-level skills gap, or a programme that needs ongoing network architecture governance without full-time capacity.
Technical Assurance / Escalation Support
Independent review and escalation support for in-flight programmes — validating designs, assuring delivery quality, or providing senior technical input where a programme has stalled or requires specialist input. This includes acting on behalf of an end client to hold a large managed service provider or systems integrator to contracted scope, quality, and timelines.
Best suited to organisations that want independent validation of a design or a third party's delivery before committing to a business-critical change — including client-side oversight of an outsourced MSP or systems integrator's delivery against the SOW.
Delivery Partner Support
Specialist network consultancy support engaged by MSPs, consultancies, and systems integrators for client programmes — working as part of the partner's delivery team, under the partner's or the end client's governance.
Best suited to two kinds of partner: MSPs whose stack is strong on modern workplace, security, or applications but doesn't extend to enterprise network, data centre, or firewall architecture; and change or transformation consultancies that embed delivery teams into enterprise clients and need senior network and infrastructure capability for the cloud, migration, or data centre elements of a wider programme.
Commercials
How Engagements Are Contracted
All engagements are contracted directly with vSource IT Ltd, a UK-registered limited company. Scope, deliverables, timelines, and commercial terms are agreed in advance for each engagement, whether working directly with an end client or as delivery support for an MSP, consultancy, or systems integrator.
There is no fixed minimum engagement length — models range from a short, tightly scoped review through to a multi-month transformation programme or an ongoing fractional arrangement.
